Paloma heads for Cuba
As the hurricane season is coming to an end, it doesn't mean that hurricane can't occur anytime. As a matter of fact a very dangerous category 4 hurricane Paloma is expected to hit Havana, Cuba late Saturday or early Sunday. Its outer rain bands began striking the southern coast of Cuba after the storm knocked out power across much of Grand Cayman Island. A hurricane warning was in effect across the central and eastern provinces of Cuba, and civil defense authorities were overseeing efforts to protect life and property. Nearly one million people along the low-lying southern coast had been evacuated to get away from this life threatening storm.
